Yes. The analogue display is a purely mechanical spring scale, so it continues to register weight regardless of battery charge. Only the digital (LED) display requires battery power; if the battery is drained, the digital readout won’t illuminate or update, but the analogue dial will still move and show weight on its graduated scale.

The digital display is located just below the analogue dial, giving users the flexibility of using a classic measurement or a precise digital display.

The scale gives you the choice of four different units for maximum flexibility:

• Grams (g)
• Mililitres (ml)*
• Pounds & Ounces (lb.oz)
• Fluid Ounces (fl.oz)

*When weighting liquids, use the ml setting

This scale can handle a maximum capacity of 5kg, with an accuracy of 1 gram, allowing you to weigh your ingredients with absoloute precision.

Press the “TARE” button to zero out the weight of any container. You can then add ingredients one by one, resetting to zero each time without removing the previous item. You are also able to select up to 4 units of measurement and make conversions for each, helping you stay flexible for all types of recipes!

This scale features a built-in rechargable lithium-ion battery with fast USB-C charging (cable included with product), offering up to 36 hours of continuous use. The automatic standby mode helps save battery life by automatically turning off after 3 minutes when the scale is not in use.
